Ingredients, per cocktail

• 10 oz of chilled Coca-Cola (or Pepsi)
• 2 oz of a peppermint schnapps
• Crushed ice or ice cubes (optional)
• Sprig of fresh mint (optional)
• Candy cane (optional)

Preparation

1. Pour the peppermint schnapps and Coca-Cola into a glass tumbler. If you want ice, put it in the glass beforehand.
2. You can now garnish the drink with a sprig of mint and/or a candy cane.

It is very easy to make and requires just three ingredients. Consider serving it when you host your next party.

Ingredients

• Chilled Champagne
• Pure pear juice
• Sprigs of fresh mint

Preparation

1. Pour equal volumes of the Champagne and pear juice into Champagne flutes (using green-tinted glass flutes will look especially nice).
2. Garnish each drink with a sprig of mint.

It is named after the plant of the same name, which is often used as a Christmas decoration.

Ingredients, per cocktail

• 1/2 oz of an orange liqueur, such as Cointreau or Grand Marnier
• 3 oz of cranberry juice
• Champagne or any other dry sparkling white wine
• Fresh cranberries on a cocktail stick or orange zest twists (optional)

Preparation

1. Chill all of the liquid ingredients in advance.
2. Pour the orange liqueur and cranberry juice into a chilled Champagne flute.
3. Stir thoroughly.
4. Top with Champagne just prior to serving.
5. Garnish with either fresh cranberries skewered on a cocktail stick or orange zest twists (optional).

Important warning!

Never add real poinsettia leaves to the cocktail (not even as a garnish on the rim of the glass) because they may cause allergic reactions and temporary blindness.
